This True TSSU-27-08-ADA-HC prep table comes with 3-inch castors, simplifying installation by enabling movement. Its full-length cutting board is removable and made of polyethylene, so it is convenient to clean. Additionally, the lids and hood are detachable, and because all interior corners are coved, they do not gather debris, streamlining cleanup. To accommodate various products, the cabinet's two PVC-coated wire shelves are adjustable on 1⁄2-inch increments.
For storing ingredients, the True TSSU-27-08-ADA-HC food prep table comes with 8 sixth-size food pans, and foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation keeps cold air inside and ambient air outside. The self-closing, stainless steel door has a recessed handle and stays open past 90 degrees to facilitate loading and unloading. Constructed of stainless steel with a GalFan-coated steel back, the exterior is durable and corrosion resistant. Its interior's lining is made of clear-coated aluminum, while the heavy-duty floor is made of stainless steel.
Environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is regulated by the self-contained capillary tube system and maintains a set temperature between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The epoxy-coated evaporator and self-lubricating fan motor ensure the unit's longevity while limiting the amount of maintenance required. Removing dust, debris, and dirt from the condensing coil, the condensing fan motor reverses for 20 seconds each time the compressor starts. Although this feature is automatic and self-cleaning, it operates best if maintenance is performed frequently. This expands the unit's lifespan and reduces its energy consumption. Airflow is guided around the pans and throughout the cabinet to encourage even temperatures.
