The True GDM-37-HC-LD two-section glass door merchandiser uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to keep temperatures cool, while the refrigeration system maintains even temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Less heat is produced and energy consumption is reduced since the condenser and evaporator motors push out more air than most standard systems. Since it is mounted on the bottom of the cabinet, maintaining the condensing unit is convenient. A black powder-coated exterior is durable and permanent, while the white aluminum interior liner resists peeling and chipping. Polyurethane insulation is foamed in place to give the cabinet rigidity and trap cold air.
The reverse condensing fan motor blows excess dirt and debris off the condensing coil. This self-cleaning feature operates by blowing in reverse for the first 20 seconds after the compressor is started. For efficient operation and a lengthened unit lifespan, employees should reguarly maintain the condensing coil.
Double-pane, thermal-insulated glass doors have mitered plastic channel frames and 12-inch handles that simplify door opening, while the self-closing doors keep cold air in the cabinet.
