Optimize your back-of-house operations with this Hoshizaki SR48B-12 48" sandwich top prep refrigerator with 2 doors. Whether you need to streamline service in a cafeteria, sub shop, or independent restaurant, this heavy-duty, stainless steel unit is made to facilitate the sandwich or salad prep process. Its top holds up to (12) 1/6 size food pans, 4" deep, and it comes with a full set of clear plastic pans to get you started. The pan rail can also accept 6" deep pans (sold separately).
The refrigerated pan rail is great for holding common sandwich or salad toppings, from hard boiled eggs and cheese to green peppers and ham. It even has a removable stainless steel guard that streamlines the cleanup process at the end of a shift. Plus, a lift-up lid encloses the top to maintain proper food safe temperatures and prevent contamination. For added convenience, a 48" x 10", 1/2" thick polyethylene cutting board is provided for slicing ingredients and assembling orders.
Beneath the worktop is additional storage space, with 2 self-closing, spring-assisted, stay open doors with a "stepped" design that guards the door gaskets when products are removed from the inside. The field reversible doors feature 2" CFC-free, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, making the interior cabinets great for storing ingredients like extra deli meat, cheese, condiments, and sauces. Not to mention, the magnetic gasket design and extruded aluminum flush mount door handles make maintenance and operation easier. The additional space also comes with 2 epoxy-coated shelves that are adjustable in 1/2" increments.
With an innovative air distribution system that promotes even cooling, this prep refrigerator is engineered to maintain food safe, NSF-7 temperatures even when ambient temperatures reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It uses a 1/5 hp front breathing refrigeration system and eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. This prep refrigerator even boasts an epoxy-coated evaporator coil and hot gas condensate removal system, ensuring that humidity is removed from the unit at all times. For optimal performance, this unit comes with 6" casters, 2 with brakes, and requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
