When the ambient temperature is low enough, the Ice-O-Matic CIM0320FA/B42PS ice maker with bin makes 313 pounds of ice daily, but when conditions are less than ideal, it makes closer to 244 pounds per day. It uses a self-contained, air-cooled condenser to produce full-size cubes of ice, and the bin has storage space for 351 pounds for later use. To clean the unit and remove limescale, operators must simply push a button, and to inhibit microbe growth, the head is protected with PURE ICE® antimicrobial.

To ensure proper operation, the Ice-O-Matic CIM0320FA/B42PS full-cube ice machine with bin provides system statuses on an LED display. The food zone components inside the head can be removed and placed in the dishwasher for cleaning. Providing durability, the exterior of the bin is made of aluminum, while the interior has a polyethylene liner that provides corrosion resistance. To slow the melting of ice, the bin has foam insulation.
