This unit has dual exhaust that releases air from the top and the side. The ice maker produces from 711 to 896 pounds of ice per day depending on environmental factors, while the bin holds as much as 510 pounds for later use. Ensuring ice doesn't melt quickly during storage, the bin is insulated with foam, and it's lined with polyethylene to resist corrosion.
This Ice-O-Matic CIM0836FA/B55PS ice maker with bin has a durable stainless exterior finish that withstands high-volume use. The head is protected with PURE ICE® antimicrobial to inhibit the growth of bacteria, and the food zone has removable components that can be cleaned in a dishmachine. To descale and sanitize the unit, employees just need to push a button, and to read status updates, it has an LED display that provides a readout.
