R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used by the self-contained capillary tube system to cool the unit without harming the environment. This freezer has a condensing fan motor that goes into its unique reverse mode upon start up for 20 seconds. Designed to blow debris, dust, and dirt off the condenser coil, this feature promotes efficient system operation without using a lot of energy. It also keeps temperatures inside consistent while prolonging the system's lifespan. Despite this cleaning feature improving overall operation, it doesn’t replace routine preventative maintenance.
