Due to its stainless steel and aluminum construction, the True STA1HRI89-1S Spec Series® roll-in heated cabinet resists corrosion and dents. For structure and temperature retention, its walls are foamed with polyurethane insulation. This unit is designed for keeping cooked and baked food warm and should not be used to heat ambient or cold food. Incandescent lights can be turned on through an external light switch to brighten the interior.
To maintain set temperatures between 140 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit, two stainless steel heating elements sit inside this unit. Once heat is generated, low-velocity fans circulate air around the cabinet, and a vent on top of the cabinet can be opened and closed to control the humidity level. If the operator desires more humidity, a 12-inch by 20-inch water pan is included. Racks and carts can be rolled in on a stainless steel ramp.
The True STA1HRI89-1S roll-in heated cabinet has a stainless steel door that can stay open past 120 degrees for loading and unloading. When opened less than 120 degrees, it closes on its own to conserve energy, and a magnetic gasket fits into the frame to prevent warm air from seeping out. The metal handle provides a sturdy grip while a bolt style lock prevents theft. To prevent damage from racks and carts, a bumper lines the wall.
